What we do not collect

This tool requires no account, no email address and no phone number. We do not ask for, receive or store your Snapchat credentials — the tool never signs in to Snapchat on anyone's behalf. We do not keep a server-side record of the usernames you look up, and we do not keep copies of the stories or files you view or download.

Your recent lookups

The "Private History" list shown on the tool pages is stored in your own browser's local storage. It is never transmitted to our servers. You can clear it at any time using the Clear button next to it.

Log data and analytics

Like most websites, our servers may process standard technical information (such as IP address, browser type and pages visited) to operate and secure the service. We use privacy-friendly product analytics to understand aggregate usage — for example which pages are visited and whether the tool succeeds — not to profile individual visitors.

Advertising

This site is supported by advertising. Ad partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads. Where required, a consent banner will be shown and your choice respected.

Third-party content

Story media is loaded from Snapchat's public content delivery network. Your browser fetches that media the same way it would on any public Snapchat web page.
