How to Download Snapchat Stories
Find the username
Downloads work off the same public usernames the viewer uses, so you'll need the exact handle rather than the display name. Usernames contain no spaces and are unique to the account; display names are neither. If you're unsure, open the person's profile in Snapchat and read the handle beneath their display name, or search the display name in Snapchat and check which suggestion matches. An incorrect username returns nothing, and that's by far the most common cause of a failed download.

Is It Legal, and What About Privacy
Everything this tool downloads is content the owner has already made public. Stories, Highlights and Spotlight clips are visible to anyone with the username, so saving a copy isn't the same as accessing something private — and private accounts return nothing here. That said, public doesn't mean unrestricted: don't republish someone's video as your own, don't edit it into something misleading, and don't use downloads to harass or track anyone.
